Peter J. Boylan III was promoted to President of Ballard Brands on July 1, 2016, a privately held restaurant and hospitality company headquartered in New Orleans and Covington, Louisiana. He previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer beginning in 2011. Peter initially joined Ballard Brands in 2009 as a member of their Board of Advisors. During his tenure with Ballard Brands the company’s footprint expanded across the U.S. and internationally; it has grown to over 150 restaurants in 30 states; and has acquired multiple brands into the company’s portfolio. Boylan adds over 20 years of professional and executive leadership experience to the Ballard Brands team. Prior to joining Ballard Brands, Boylan held senior executive positions in various companies to include the Coca-Cola Company and Honeywell, Inc. He also served in leadership roles in a wide variety of businesses to include entrepreneurial start-ups; as well as both privately and publicly held companies. He earned an MBA from Wake Forest University’s Babcock Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is also a decorated combat veteran who served with both the 101st Airborne Division and the 82nd Airborne Division.
