Scott Ballard, along with his brothers Paul and Steven, formed Ballard Brands in December 2012. The company’s restaurant portfolio includes retail brands WOW Café: American Grill & Wingery, PJ’s Coffee & Tea of New Orleans, The Original City Diner, Boardhouse Serious Sandwiches and Deuce McAllister’s Ole Saint Kitchen and Tap. These brands collectively total hundreds of locations in both traditional and non-traditional models and continue to grow. Ballard Brands also operates wholesale brand New Orleans Roast coffee, which is sold in grocery stores and is featured in an array of locations, including restaurants, hotels, airports and c-stores. Scott also is the founder of Ballard Hospitality, LLC, which is a logistics company that provides lifestyle services, housing and all logistical support to remote sites. Ballard Hospitality is a partner in and manages the largest workforce camp in the continental United States in Sulphur, Louisiana. This company is active worldwide and is gradually becoming one of the largest in its sector.
Scott is a proud graduate of Tulane University and sits on a number boards such as the LSU Systems Board of Supervisors, Louisiana Tuition Trust Authority, Louisiana Hospitality Foundation and the Louisiana Boys and Girls Club. He and his wife Kristi have three children and are very active and philanthropic in the Greater New Orleans area.
