How do I know what employers are coming to Freeman?
Check your email regularly, as well as Handshake. Check the Freeman Careers Calendar.
How do I go about finding job or internship opportunities?
There are hundreds of internships posted on Handshake but we also know more than 80% are found through networking. Start with your career strategy coach to define your targets and develop a plan.
How do I figure out what I want to do after I graduate?
Meet with a career strategy coach to begin mapping out your plan and identify the path that’s right for you. Refer to the Customized Career Strategy above to schedule an appointment with a Career Strategy Coach.
When should I start thinking about my career?
Start thinking about your career as soon as you arrive at Freeman. Treat it as a continuous journey. Set goals early, seek guidance often, and adjust your plan as you gain experience and clarity. Make an appointment with a Career Strategy Coach.
When do applications open for a certain industry (finance, consulting, accounting, marketing, etc)?
Different industries have different application and recruiting cycles. Learn more about the industry recruiting cycles.
How do I get college credit for an internship?
Graduate students should talk to their academic advisor regarding internship college credit. Undergraduates interested in learning more about internships and college credits, should read about the For-Credit Internship Program.
Do you have a list of alumni working in various industries?
To search for alumni, we encourage students to utilize LinkedIn and CareerShift. Be sure to prepare effectively before reaching out to alumni. Learn more about career networking.
How can I prepare for a behavioral interview?
Prepare by reflecting on your experiences and practicing responses using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). Focus on clear examples that highlight your skills, leadership, and problem-solving. Learn more about preparing for an interview.

How do I book an interview room?
