Graduate Fellowships

The Freeman School offers fellowships to exceptionally gifted graduate students based on the following criteria:

  • Academic excellence 
  • Geographic and personal background
  • Professional experience

All applicants are automatically considered for merit-based fellowships. There is no additional application necessary. Early applications are encouraged.

To be considered to fellowships, prospective students are encouraged to complete their applications for admission as close as possible to the priority deadline. The school identifies applicants who demonstrate outstanding potential based on their application materials including, but not limited to:

  • Transcripts
  • Test scores
  • Quality and quantity of professional work
  • Extracurricular and community activities
  • Leadership potential

Funding amounts vary from up to 100% tuition for the Full-Time MBA program to up to 50% tuition for most other graduate programs.

Beinner Family Goldman Sachs Scholarship

Program: All graduate programs
The Beinner Family Goldman Sachs Scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate or graduate students in any program at the Freeman School.

Kenneth J. Boudreaux MBA ’67 Fellowship

Program: All graduate programs
The Kenneth J. Boudreaux MBA ’67 Fellowship provides financial support to graduate students at the Freeman School.

Class of 1987 Fellowship

Program: All graduate programs
The Freeman School Class of 1987 Fellowship provides financial assistance to graduate business students.

Freeman 50 Endowed Fellowship Fund

Program: Full-Time MBA
The Freeman 50 Fellowship supports graduate student fellowships for students enrolled in the full-time MBA program at the Freeman School.

Sara Annie Baker Hopkins ’84 and David L. Hopkins Fellowship

Program: MBA, PMBA and EMBA
The Sara Annie Baker Hopkins ’84 and David L. Hopkins Fellowship provides financial support for deserving Master of Business Administration students at the Freeman School.

Hansel O. Kincaid Graduate Accounting Fellowship

Program: Master of Accounting
The Hansel O. Kincaid Graduate Accounting Fellowship provides financial support to one or more business school graduate students studying accounting who demonstrate superior academic achievement and show promise for future accomplishments. Each recipient will be known as the Kincaid Scholar.

Note: The most academically excellent applicants will be invited to complete an essay addressing the basis for and significance of professional ethics in accounting or ethical practices in the general business world, and that ethics requires an organized basis for systematic thought.

Linn Family Scholarship

Program: Full-Time MBA
The Linn Family Scholarship provides partial tuition for at least one MBA student enrolled in the full-time MBA program at the Freeman School.

Sue K. and Charles L. Tilis Fellowship

Program: Master of Accounting
The Sue K. and Charles L. Tilis Fellowship provides financial support to graduate or doctoral students in the accounting program at the Freeman School. Tulane undergraduates in the BSM/MACCT program may also be considered.

Note: Special consideration will be given for students who are female or who are members of groups that are underrepresented at Tulane.

Slosberg-United Builders Supply Fellowship

Program: Full-Time MBA
The Slosberg-United Builders Supply Fellowship provides partial tuition for an MBA student enrolled in the full-time MBA program at the Freeman School.

Tulane Alumni Association of Panama Scholarship

Program: One-year specialized degrees (Master of Accounting, Master of Business Analytics, Master of Finance, Master of Management, Master of Management in Energy)
The Tulane Alumni Association of Panama Scholarship supports a Panamanian student studying in any one-year graduate program at the Freeman School.
