Our accelerated joint degree program combines the country’s only degree in sustainable real estate with a comprehensive MBA curriculum. At Freeman, we're breaking ground on a new approach to real estate education. 

Our partnership with the School of Architecture emphasizes the real-world application of theory. With training in finance and analytics as well as sustainable urbanism and design, you'll understand the effects of a project over the long term, from profitability to community impact and environmental concerns. You'll have a graduate business degree with both the qualitative and quantitative knowledge needed to make informed decisions as a sustainably minded, business-savvy leader.

Curriculum

Our MBA/MSRED is program is the only one of its kind in nation. You’ll learn fundamental real estate principles, tenets of social and ecomomic sustainability, and methods for sustainable design and urbanism. You’ll also develop a strong foundation in business practices, analytical reasoning and financial modeling to distinguish you in your job search.

Get direct field experience through client-based research projects and field study trips to see challenges and successes in other cities nationally.

Directed Research

You’ll collaborate with a professional partner to complete a directed research project during the spring semester. Prior research partners include the City of New Orleans and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Joint degree candidates should complete the application for the Full-Time MBA program and indicate their interest in the MBA/MSRED.
