The Freeman School of Business Stewart Center for Executive & Professional Education offers three paths to the MBA, each designed to meet the needs of working adults. With a shared commitment to academic excellence, our innovative programs offer a variety of modalities, class times, and experiences to meet students where they are – and where they want to go.
Today’s business leaders require advanced skills and knowledge to meet the rapidly changing marketplace and dynamic global economy. With sophisticated research and practical expertise, Freeman’s world-class faculty are uniquely equipped to inspire deep learning. Each course incorporates contemporary cases, engaging assessments, and emerging technologies to provide aspiring managers and executives with relevant solutions to the complex challenges facing any industry.
Choose your path to an MBA
Intentionally designed to maximize learning and minimize work & life disruptions
Executive MBA (EMBA) – an immersive, accelerated 17-month program for seasoned professionals. The EMBA curriculum focuses on building executive skills and presence while developing a global perspective. Classes on alternating Fridays and Saturdays along with three immersive weeks. Specializations in global strategy, managing innovation, and finance. Culminates with an international business consulting project and 7-day trip. Past locales include Cape Town, Madrid, Dublin, and Paris.
Professional MBA (PMBA) – a contemporary curriculum in a traditional evening format. Classes take place in our state-of-the-art business school complex with refreshments provided. Experience collaborative learning with like-minded professionals and graduate in 2-4 years. Online course options will be offered soon to accelerate time to graduation.
Online MBA (OMBA) – highly engaged but fully remote, self-paced learning using new learning technologies and strategies. Classes meet weekly via Zoom. Time to completion is 2 to 4 years. Choose a concentration in marketing, business analytics, finance or general management. Access to an online learning success coach.
