As executive director of the Career Management Center, Dale Klamfoth represents the career interests of Freeman School students and alumni. Dale is responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships with employers around the world. Prior to joining the Freeman School, Dale was a senior vice president and area director for Lee Hecht Harrison and previously served as Senior Partner, Southeastern Managing Director Talent Consulting with Korn Ferry International. Dale holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Capital University.

As the interim director of operations for the Career Management Center, Carla Coury leads a team of career and employer relations professionals to develop students and connect them with career opportunities. Carla formerly led the career team in Tulane’s Newcomb-Tulane College and served as the executive director of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program in the Gulf South Region. Along with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, career management, and corporate relations, Carla earned the Senior Professional in Human Resource designation to complement her masters’ degree in speech and organizational communication and bachelor’s degree in workforce education and development from Southern Illinois University.

In her role at the Career Management Center, Tori Lane supports management and legal studies students in achieving their career goals. She holds an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology and a B.A. in human resource management from the University of Alabama. She is a certified professional in human resources (PHR) and has a demonstrated history of working in talent, performance and career management. Skilled in succession planning, talent review, interviewing, recruiting, sales, and management; she is able to provide corporate experience as an additional resource to her students.

Alexsis Skeen serves as the Recruiting Relations Manager for the Freeman School of Business. With a background in in recruitment, event management and communications, she builds relationships with employers and creates opportunities for engagement. Prior to joining Tulane, Alexsis worked at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, Georgia, and College Possible, a college access non-profit. She holds a B.A. in public relations and a certificate in personal and organizational leadership from the University of Georgia.

Donn Barclay is a career consultant for MBA candidates. He joined the Freeman School in 2006 after a 25-year career at JVC Company of America. He holds a B.S. in marketing and an MBA from St. John’s University.

Sarah Covert is a career consultant for undecided students at the Freeman School. Prior to joining the Career Management Center, she was the policy and media coordinator for Juvenile Justice Project of Louisiana. She is also the founder and owner of Sarah’s Pet Care Revolution. Sarah holds both a B.S. in psychology and a B.A. in women’s studies from Tulane University.

Jeannine Coxen counsels finance students in career assessment, industry research, networking, resume development and cover letter development, interviewing techniques and salary negotiation. Prior to joining the Freeman School, she held roles at Sanford-Brown Online and Entergy. She earned her master’s degree in human resources management from Troy State University.

Career Consultant
As a career consultant in the Freeman School, Bill Hudlow works with undergraduate students who are undecided about their majors. Bill has more than 20 years experience in hospitality management and 10 years in insurance and financial services. He earned his MBA from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane and his BA from Transylvania University. Bill has previously served as an Adjunct Professor for the Business TIDES program.

An experienced career consultant with expertise in career development, college recruiting, and employee training, Leslie Long joined the Career Management Center in 2019. Previously, she held roles at Delgado Community College, Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, and ITT Technical Institute. She has a B.S. in information systems and decision sciences from LSU.

Career Consultant
Denise Peery brings over 25 years’ experience in human capital management, with deep expertise in talent management, leadership development, executive search, career transition, executive coaching and diversity training to the Career Management Center. She has worked with complex integrated senior level teams and C-level division makers with multi-industry Fortune 500/1000 global corporations. She currently supports Freeman graduate students enrolled in the Master of Business Analytics and Master of Management in Energy programs. She earned her MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.

Marco Tejeda-Kemp is a career consultant who specializes in helping students launch careers in the finance industry. He graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a B.A. in International Relations and has earned a Consultative Sales designation. Prior to joining the Freeman School, he worked in the insurance and finance industry for 9 years in recruitment, sales management, corporate training, business planning and consulting. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Data Control Specialist

Susan Pauli joined Tulane in 1997 as a senior editor and subsequently served as a project assistant. She joined the Career Management Center in 2019 as a data control specialist where she manages career-related data, reporting and technology platforms for the department. Susan earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
