Will there be separate commencement ceremonies for undergraduates and graduate students at the Freeman School of Business this year?
No, there will be one combined ceremony for Freeman undergraduate and graduate students. This change allows us to celebrate all graduates together in a single, memorable event! Additional ceremony details and abbreviated run of show will be shared with students closer to the ceremony date.
Are tickets required to attend the Freeman School of Business commencement ceremony?
No, tickets are not required. Family, friends, and supporters are encouraged to attend! Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Will the ceremonies be livestreamed? How do I watch it?
Yes, the Freeman School of Business diploma ceremony will be livestreamed and available on this page and also the main commencement webpage.
How long will the Freeman School of Business diploma ceremony last?
We anticipate the diploma ceremony to last approximately 2.5 hours. It will be a memorable event and we’re excited to celebrate this milestone with you!
What to Expect
Clear Bag Policy
The following are the only bags permitted into the Superdome:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
- One-gallon clear plastic bags (Ziploc bag or similar).
- Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle or strap
- Diaper bags must comply with the clear bag policy
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection and tagging.
