Alana Bell joined the Freeman School following the completion of her PhD in business administration at the University of South Alabama’s Mitchell College of Business. Before pursuing her doctorate, she served as finance director and operations officer for two minority-owned businesses. These roles deeply influenced her research pursuits, centered around organizational behavior and entrepreneurship, particularly emphasizing equity, diversity and inclusion. Bell holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Spring Hill College and an MBA from Barry University.
