Biography

Christopher Campagna came to the Freeman School of Business from Georgia State University, where he served as a visiting professor. Campagna was a senior marketing executive for several domestic and global companies, including Papa John’s, Toyota, Sam’s Club and Costco. At Georgia State, Campagna was the first marketing PhD student approved to teach graduate/master’s-level courses and be part of a DBA candidate’s dissertation committee. His research and published papers have involved driving brand authenticity and customer brand engagement, digital/social media marketing, and modern branding techniques. He employs various methods in his research, including secondary data, video diaries, interviews, surveys and experiments. Campagna has presented his research at numerous AMA and AMS conferences. He received his PhD from Georgia State University, his MBA from the College of William & Mary, and his BA from the University of Richmond.
