PMBA Program Scholarship Process

The Tulane Professional MBA (PMBA) program offers a distinct, merit-based scholarship review process designed specifically for working professionals. All applicants are automatically reviewed for partial scholarship awards upon admission. Initial scholarship decisions are included with the admissions offer.

In addition, all admitted students undergo a second scholarship assessment before the start of the program, and may also submit a scholarship reconsideration form to request additional merit-based support.

This second review takes into account several factors not always captured in a traditional application, including:

  • Additional professional experience beyond the 2-year minimum requirement
  • Leadership roles that demonstrate qualifications or career advancement
  • Significant nonprofit or community service, including board involvement
  • Financial constraints or hardship
  • Business ownership
  • U.S. military or veteran status

This targeted review ensures that each candidate’s full profile as a working professional is considered. Scholarships are awarded based on merit, leadership potential, and professional impact.

Need-Based Financial Aid

Domestic students

Graduate level students use a combination of student loans, work study and personal funds to help defray the cost of educational expenses. At Tulane University, all loans and merit-based aid are administered through the central Office of Financial Aid. Students can borrow up to the budgeted MBA cost of attendance less any scholarships. For detailed information about student loans and how to apply please visit the Office of Financial Aid.
