Biography
Min Young Lee joined the Freeman School in 2026 as Assistant Professor of Management. Her research explores how workplace experiences shape people’s sense of self and influence the way they navigate work. A central aim of her research is to understand why some experiences leave people feeling more capable and self-assured while others lead them to question their value and contributions. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Applied Psychology and the Academy of Management Annals. Lee received a PhD in Management from the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MA in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University, and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Emory University. Prior to joining Freeman, she served as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
