Full time refers to a full course load, with courses that are taken throughout the day. Students in the two-year Full-Time MBA program at Tulane complete 59 credit hours of intensive coursework spanning across four semesters.
Professionals with management skills are in demand across practically every industry. A full-time graduate business program enables students to invest in their potential and progress as skilled problem-solvers with the strategic expertise needed to help businesses overcome challenges and achieve growth.
As a student in Tulane University’s Full-Time MBA program, you’ll have access to various experiential learning opportunities, including two intensive immersion courses, a consulting practicum, and an impact capstone where you will tackle real strategic business problems for corporate clients.
At Tulane’s Freeman School of Business, we look at all of a candidate’s application materials together for a holistic evaluation of their preparedness. Prospective students need a bachelor’s degree with transcripts from an accredited institution. We encourage candidates to have at least two years of work experience, but we also consider strong internship experience.
The answer is different for each individual and depends on your specific needs and goals. Full-time MBA programs have features that capitalize on students’ ability to attend school with a full course load, including more opportunities for experiential learning and a focus on career development. Part-time MBA programs offer a flexible format tailored for working professionals looking to advance in or change their careers.
