Saeede Eftekhari

Biography

Saeede Eftekhari is an Assistant Professor of Management Science at the A. B. Freeman School of Business, where she teaches Business Analytics and Business Statistics and Modeling. She joined Tulane University in 2019 after earning her Ph.D. in Management Science and Systems from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has developed two streams of research at the intersection of information systems and data-driven analytics. Her first stream examines how Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) shape clinical practices, healthcare strategies, and patient and provider behaviors. In this stream, she employs causal econometric modeling, social network analysis, and qualitative fieldwork. Her second stream explores digital communities and how AI-enabled analytics can reshape organizational decision-making and knowledge production. This research stream combines text analytics, machine learning, language modeling, and econometric analyses. Her research has been published in Management Science and ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems (TMIS).
