Jeff Salyers joined the faculty in 2023 as a professor of practice after previously serving as a visiting lecturer and adjunct lecturer. Prior to joining the Freeman School, Salyers spent more than a decade in senior marketing roles at leading consumer packaged goods firms including Kimberly-Clark, Abbott Nutrition and McCormick. He was most recently vice president of marketing and new product development at Reily Foods in New Orleans, where he led brands such as Blue Plate Mayonnaise, Luzianne Iced Tea and New England Coffee. Salyers also previously served as manager of season ticket services for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UNC Charlotte, a master’s degree in sports management from Appalachian State University, and an MBA from The Ohio State University.
