  • The Freeman PhD program is focused on preparing students to compile and publish cutting-edge research, as well as to teach in the areas of corporate finance, investments and financial accounting.
  • Our students focus on advanced topics in mathematical economics, price theory, econometrics, corporate finance and accounting, with specialized concentrations in Finance and Financial Accounting.
  • Students take Finance/Financial Accounting workshops and seminars, which provide a tight-knit community of thinkers and personalized faculty support. Students can also attend seminars in the economics department.
  • Students receive the financial and intellectual support necessary to develop excellent academic and scholarly careers, including comprehensive one-on-one faculty counsel for students who are developing papers.
