Make It Your Own

You can tailor your education to meet your career goals by following a track in corporate finance or investments, or earning a specialization in energy.

"In the Aaron Selber Jr. Course on Distressed Debt, we focused on this niche market not often taught in universities (especially to undergrads!). Professor Yest kept the lectures informative, fun, and collaborative. He brought in talented professionals who work for distressed debt hedge funds, and there was a semester-long project to pitch a DD investment to a panel of guest judges. My team pitched shorting the convertible debt of The Vitamin Shoppe and won!"
- Benjamin Gerber (BSM ‘19), Finance with a specialization in Energy
Private Equity Associate, HarbourVest Partners

With Freeman’s dedicated Career Management Center, you will learn the skills to find your first destination and to guide your career development throughout your professional life.

Experiential Learning

You can apply for Court Watch, a service learning course that sends you to court to observe and analyze the criminal justice system, or enroll in the year-long Mock Trial course and complete simulation exercises involving trial preparation and trial procedures, including motion filing and oral arguments.

Alanna Austiin

"I was shocked by, yet appreciative of, the number of lessons directly tied to fundamental ideas of human psychology. I did not anticipate my accounting or financial classes to cover anything beyond the necessary math skills to reach our course objectives. However, most professors found a way to explain how the mathematics covered directly correlated with how we process decisions and rationalize behavior."
- Alanna Austin (BSM ‘21), Legal Studies in Business
Law Student, University of Carolina, Chapel Hill

"Rob Hailey’s course, Relationship Marketing, was inspirational, unique, and topical. Professor Hailey invited me to be his Teaching Assistant to manage interactive, real-world consulting engagements between students in his course and various senior staff from Tulane’s Campus Services. I cannot think of a more unique or impactful experiential learning experience to have while in college."
