Advising Sessions

We support local entrepreneurs seeking technical assistance by connecting them with industry experts from our alumni network. Typically, entrepreneurs meet with an advisor for 2-3 sessions, either virtually or in-person, depending on their needs. We match participants on a rolling basis, allowing us to offer this service year-round.

During these advising sessions, entrepreneurs receive one-on-one guidance from experienced industry experts. Qualifying entrepreneurs can work with Lepage Center advisors based on their business's unique needs, from managing tax returns and creating financial forecasts to developing marketing and business plans. To date, 80 entrepreneurs and small business owners have requested assistance, leveraging access to more than 70 Lepage Center advisors.

The advisors include current Lepage Center Innovators-in-Residence as well as dozens of newly recruited advisors, investors and business experts from across the country. Offering newly created virtual consultations provides more opportunities for Tulane/Freeman mentors to engage from anywhere in the world.

Entrepreneurs interested in participating in advising sessions can submit their requests through our online form.
