Self-Assessment
A critical first step in the career planning process should include a thorough evaluation of your interests, skills, values, and personality. 

Resume Prep

Career Assessment
Get the guidance you need to make the right career decisions. You will also have access to a variety of online career assessment tools. 

Internship Programs
There are multiple opportunities throughout the year for you to participate in an unpaid internship, for which you may receive college credit. An internship will allow you to gain practical knowledge and stand out from the competition. 

Interview Prep
Practice interviews with our expert career coaches so you will be primed and ready to land your dream job. We offer guidance on everything from interview etiquette and presentation to research and follow-up.

Networking

Tips for Getting Started with Handshake

1. Log in to Handshake. Use your Tulane ID and password and log in to the Handshake Portal.

2. Fill out your profile. Some of your information will already be in your Handshake profile. Check to make sure all information is correct and fill out the remainder. 

3. Upload your documents. You will want to have a Freeman formatted resume available in Handshake for employers to see. 

4. Follow jobs and employers you are interested in. When you follow an employer or a job, you will automatically start receiving information about the company or job so you will not miss out on updates or new opportunities.
